Nguyen Phu Cuong elected as Chairman of Bau Bang district’s People's Committee

Early December 2, the Executive Board of the 12^th Bau Bang district’s Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term held its 29^th session and a conference for the district’s key officials.

At the session, a decision from provincial Party Standing Committee was announced, confirming the election result of Nguyen Cong Quan as a member of Bau Bang district’s Party Standing Committee. He is also Head of the district’s Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization.

The meeting also conducted a vote under the procedural steps for the position of Vice Secretary of Bau Bang district’s Party Committee for Nguyen Phu Cuong, Vice Chairman of the district’s People's Committee, in order to submit the result to provincial Party Standing Committee for confirmation.

*On the same day, the 3^rd Bau Bang district’s People's Council for the 2021-2026 tenure also held its 11th session.

At the session, delegates voted to approve the draft resolution confirming the result of the resignation of Vo Thanh Giau, former Vice Secretary of Bau Bang district’s Party Committee and Chairman of the district’s People’s Committee from his role as a member of the 3^rd Bau Bang district’s People's Council for the 2021-2026 tenure, due to his transfer to provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The session also conducted elections for key positions of the 3^rd Bau Bang district’s People's Committee. As a result, Nguyen Phu Cuong, Vice Chairman of Bau Bang district’s People's Committee was elected as Chairman of the district’s People's Committee.
