Thuan An city’s Party Committee with notable activities in coordination to implement mass mobilization

On November 28, Thuan An city’s Party Committee, in coordination with the Military School of the 4th Corps, held a conference to review the activities of the city’s Steering Committee for coordinating mass mobilization work for 2024.

During the 2022-2024 period, the city’s Steering Committee for Mass Mobilization effectively coordinated with local military units, departments and mass organizations to carry out mass mobilization work. Specifically, the Steering Committee organized a ceremony launching mass mobilization activities, with the participation of 718 officers and soldiers from the city's armed forces as well as representatives from affiliated units, local departments and mass organizations. Additionally, the committee closely worked with military units stationed in the area and the mass mobilization block of local communes and wards to successfully implement mass mobilization activities, with a total of 4,580 participants.

As a result, over the past three years, the units built and donated 7 "army-people solidarity" houses and 3 "great unity" ones, with a total cost of over VND 1 billion. They also visited and presented 359 gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers and policy beneficiary families, with a total cost of VND 223 million. More than 1,200 gifts were given to young soldiers entering and leaving the army, amounting to over VND 600 million. Additionally, they engaged in such activities as cleaning and dredging 32.2 km of drainage systems, canals, rivers and repaired 15.6 km of rural roads, with total investment of VND 387 million…

On this occasion, Thuan An city’s People's Committee Chairman awarded the certificates of merit to 20 collectives and 30 individuals with outstanding achievements in coordinating with military units to carry out mass mobilization work during the 2022-2024 period.
