Vietnam’s top badminton player Nguyen Tien Minh will compete in the US$350,000 Yonex All England Championships in Birmingham from March 8-13.

 

The tournament, part of the Super Series Premier circuit, is one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious badminton events. It attracts top players from around the world including Lee Chong Wei, Taufik Hidayat and Lin Dan.

 

After the event, Minh will move to Basel in Switzerland for the $125,000 Swiss Open and to Sichuan, China, for the Asian Championships in April.

 

The Olympian currently ranks seventh in the world.
