Total retail value increases sharply

Since early this year, Bau Bang district’s total retail value of commodities and services has reached more than VND3.45billion, up 26.15% and 25%-26% compared to the same period last year and the year’s plan.

According to the district’s People’s Committee, the district’s sector of trade and services remained stable with diversification in terms of goods at the local people’s demand for shopping. The district’s functional agencies made inspection tours of the market, thereby detecting 13 wrong cases with total fine of more than VND33million.

The district also granted 360 business registration certificates to individual business households with total registered capital of more than VND71billion. In addition, there were 12 cases stopping operation with total investment of more than VND4billion. The district has till now has had a total of 7,193 individual business households with total registered capital of more than VND1.56trillion.
