Truong Nguyen Thanh Nhan of Saigon Plant Protection took the 118km second stage win at the 22nd Mekong Delta cycling tournament yesterday from Tra Vinh city to Cao Lanh city in Dong Thap province with a total time of 2:52.11 with the average speed of 41.119km/hour.

After nearly one minute, Do Tuan An of Domesco Dong Thap finished, so he lost his yellow jersey. Truong Nguyen Thanh Nhan won the yellow jersey after two stages of the tournament with a total time of 4:22.27. It was followed by Tang Chi Hung and Nguyen Quoc Binh. Domesco Dong Thap took the lead after two stages with a total time of 13:9.23, followed by TRU Cycling-Tamoud Phu My and the 7 Military Zone.

The third stage today will see cyclists racing from Cao Lanh city to Can Tho city with a total length of 88km.
