Useful classes in Binh An ward

With the theme of “Acting for healthy social environment for children”, Di An town Youth Union held useful and healthy activities for local children in the past summer.

Visiting Binh Thang secondary school on summer days, every one would witness pupils’ studious spirit. They were eager to come back to schools.  volunteer youths offer summer revisions for poor children. 

Meanwhile, 25 other schools in the town held summer revision classes for pupils. Many schools held review classes for 9th graders and excellent pupils for contests…

With dedication from teachers, the pupils’ quality of study has been improved significantly. Typically, Le Khoi Bao Khuong, a 5th grader of Ly Thuong Kiet primary school won third prize of math of national Luong The Vinh prize.

Along with primary and secondary schools, ambience of review at charity classes was very jubilant. Members of the charity classes were street and poor children.

In a small room of a charity class in Thuong hamlet, Chau Thoi quarter, Binh An ward, pupils were busy with math, Vietnamese language and learning aid. Bui Yen Nhi, a pupil of Binh An primary school, said “I’m very happy to join in the class. I will make greater effort to win excellent academic results and to follow examples of the class’s volunteers”.

Nguyen Thi My Hanh, the town youth union secretary said that review for pupils in summer is one of the town youth union’s focused activities. The local volunteer youths not only help children reach good academic results but change their thinking and action and orient them to be useful people for family and society.
