The provincial People’s Committee vice chairman Huynh Van Nhi yesterday paid a working session with Bui Van Ga, vice minister of Education and Training and some leaders of the Ministry to discuss operation of Viet Duc University in the coming time.

According to the vice minister, the university has been put into use for 3 years and trained about 400 local and foreign students. The university’s temporary facility in the HCMC can not meet requirements on expansion, so the university sets out a 50ha project on expansion at My Phuoc IP in Ben Cat district.

In this time, the ministry wishes the local administration and Becamex IDC to share part of Eastern International University’s facility with Viet Duc University.

The provincial vice chairman said that the local administration agreed on Viet Duc University’s expansion in the province whilst Becamex IDC would support material facilities for the university.
