Meeting with out-going RoK Ambassador Ha Chan Ho in Hanoi on June 3, the PM said the two countries’ relationship has been upgraded to a strategic partnership, adding that cultural similarities and abundant co-operation potential are conditions for Vietnam and the RoK to deepen their ties in all fields.

The Vietnamese Government has always created favourable conditions for RoK investors to do long-term and effective business in Vietnam, he affirmed.

The Vietnamese Government leader suggested the RoK continues granting a high amount of ODA to Vietnam, focusing on transport infrastructure, climate change adaptation and environmental protection, while assisting the Southeast Asian nation in building high-tech centres.

He also proposed that the two sides work closely with each other to tackle all problems that arise during the labour co-operation between the two countries.

For his part, Ambassador Ha Chan Ho expressed his belief that on the basis of their friendship and sound political and diplomatic ties, the economic, trade and investment co-operation between Vietnam and the RoK will see new developments in the future.

He suggested both sides step up their co-operation in labour, education and training, tourism, and science and technology.
