Swimmer Trinh Thi Bich Nhu took second in the women’s 50m freestyle S6 at the World Para Swimming Championship in Mexico, to bring home another silver medal, raising the Vietnamese team’s total medal haul to 6.

Nhu finished with a time of 38’05’’. This is Nhu’s second silver medal of the tournament, after winning her first silver in the women’s 100m breaststroke SB5, clocking 1’57”66.
After six days of competition, the Vietnamese swimming team had a total of 4 silvers and 2 bronzes.
The World Para Swimming Championship drew the participation of athletes from 57 countries from around the world.
Vietnam sent 5 swimmers to the tournament - Vo Thanh Tung, Nguyen Thanh Trung, Tran Quoc Phi, Trinh Thi Bich Nhu, and Do Thanh Hai.
