VSIPs absorb nearly US$571million in FDI capital in 9 months

Province-based Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Parks (VSIPs) over the past nine months lured nearly US$571million in FDI capital or 163.12% of the year’s plan. Particularly, there were 30 new FDI projects with total registered capital of more than US$381million and 25 capital-increasing ones with more than US$189.6million. These VSIPs have so far lured 465 FDI projects with total registered capital of approximately US$6.694million and 20 domestic ones capitalized at more than VND3.83trillion.

Also during the period, enterprises in province-based VSIPs continued working stably with total investment capital implemented for projects estimated at US$250million, up 8.96% compared to last year’s same period.  They also secured US$5billion in total revenue, up 2.04% against last year’s same period or 76.92% of the year’s plan; paid US$55million for State budget or 84% of the year’s plan.
