Will Binh Duong win gold medals at the 47th Asian Body-Building Championship 2013?

Today, the 47th Asian Body-Building Championship 2013 will officially open at Phu Tho sporting hall in HCMC with the participation of more than 350 athletes from 35 nations and territories. Binh Duong targets to reach at least one gold medal at the championship.

Duong Minh Tuan, coach of Binh Duong body-building and fitness team said that at the championship, Binh Duong has 11 athletes (3 female athletes) competing in 4 categories. This is the first time Binh Duong team attends the event with many athletes, accounting for one sixth of Vietnamese national team’s athletes. And, hope of Binh Duong team is placed on athlete Ho Tan Phat, competing in male category for height 1.6m. In this category, Ho Tan Phat was used to win the gold medal at the 2012 Asian Body-Building Championship. However, to win the goal, Ho Tan Phat will have to compete with athletes from Myanmar, Indonesia, Bahrain.

Aside from Ho Tan Phat, Binh Duong team sets hope in athletes of Pham Duc Dai, Ngo Thuan, Do Van Thang, Nguyen Van My and Nguyen Ngoc Tien. Among these athletes, Pham Duc Dai and Nguyen Ngoc Tien were used to win bronze medals at the 2012 Asian Body-Building Championship.

According to Duong Minh Tuan, Binh Duong strives to win at least one gold medal at this championship.
