Youth month to focus on environment protection, climate change

This year’s event will concentrate on environment protection and encouraging the youth’s role in socio-economic development.

 

They will plant trees and collect rubbish along the city’s rivers and cannals and disseminate information on the impact of climate change.

 

Union members from Dong Nai province will take part in 79 environmental projects, including collecting rubbish from streets, schools, and public places in 11 districts in Bien Hoa City.

 

The Ho Chi Minh City unit will hold an environmental painting contest, organise the “green Sundays” campaign, and take part in Earth Hour on March 27.

 

It will build charity houses for 70 disadvantages families during the month and will add more than 8,000 new members.
