110 “Giving strength to school” scholarships awarded to poor pupils

Early September 27, provincial Study Promotion Association awarded 110 “Giving strength to school” scholarships to pupils with difficulties across the province.

Each scholarship is worth VND800,000 for primary school pupils; junior high school pupils; high school pupils, VND1.2mln; students at junior colleges and colleges, VND1.4mln; students at universities, VND2mln. The scholarships-giving program has a total expense of VND140mln, funded by Phu My Hung Co.Ltd. and Binh Duong Minerals Joint Stock Co.

Nguyen Xuan Vinh, Chairman of provincial Study Promotion Association said that the association has recently received more contributions from collectives and individuals. So far, the association and its affiliates have presented gifts and scholarships to more than 620,000 pupils & students and 11,259 teachers with a total expense of nearly VND110bln.
