The overview of the press conference
In the morning of January 3, Binh Duong Radio and Television Station cooperated with the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism to hold a press conference for the 6th BTV - Dai Thien Loc Cup Cyclist Tournament.
According to the organizers' announcement, this year the cyclists will compete in 6 race stages on the roads of the Southeast provinces. The opening ceremony will take place on January 5 in Phu Giao, with the first race from Binh Duong to Binh Phuoc. Up to this point, the Organizing Committee has received 166 athletes from 12 cycling clubs of 5 provinces and cities (Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Vinh Long, Phu Yen) registered for the tournament. The athletes compete in 2 groups of ages, 16-40 years old and 41-55 years old. This is the first time a prize has been awarded to gold medalists and gold finalists.
Regarding the structure of awards, the first prize for teammates at the age of 16-40 are trophies, flags and bonus of 40 million Vietnam dongs; ages of 41-55 are trophies, flags and bonuses of VND 20 Vietnam dong million; first prize for individuals aged 16-40 is yellow shirt, flag and 10 million Vietnam dongs of bonus; ages of 41-55 are yellow shirts, flags and 7 million Vietnam dongs of bonus.
As a new feature in this sixth season, the organizing committee with the sponsor of Dai Thien Loc will carry out a volunteer program to give bicycles and gifts to poor children in localities where the race passes.
