At the session, representatives from the Legal Affairs Committee and the Economic-Budget Committee of provincial People's Council presented evaluation reports on the proposal to draft a resolution regarding the repeal of provincial People's Council’s Resolution No. 24/2019/NQ-HĐND dated December 12, 2019, on policies for support and operational funding for civil defense teams at the commune level in Binh Duong province under a simplified procedure. The proposal also covered regulations on preferential policies for exemption and reduction in land rent for projects using land for production and business purposes in the fields eligible for investment incentives under a simplified procedure.

The committees of provincial People's Council presented evaluation reports on the use of increased revenue from lottery activities in 2023, the implementation of recording revenue and expenditure for compensation and land clearance costs voluntarily advanced by investors under plans approved by competent authorities, which will be deducted from land rental payments in 2024 and the five-year financial and state budget plan for Binh Duong province for the 2026-2030 period.

Concluding the session, Mr. Loc approved the aforementioned contents. He also requested provincial People’s Committee to promptly direct specialized agencies to coordinate with relevant bodies in finalizing draft resolutions, ensuring compliance with the required timelines, procedures and regulations. He emphasized the need to refine the content of the draft resolutions for submission to provincial People’s Council for consideration and approval at the nearest session.
