The Youth Union of Binh Duong University for Economics and Technology, on July 1, held a ceremony to launch the 2011 summer youth volunteer campaign (photo).

 During the campaign, 50 volunteer students of the school will come to Ea-Sup district’s Cu Kbang and Ea Lop communes in the Central Highlands province of Dac Lac. Herein, they will get involved in many significant activities such as making rural roads, opening summer classes, giving vocational consultancy, disseminating information on traffic safety, environmental hygiene, how to prevent dengue fever and building a sports ground worth VND15mln.

 50 other students will also team up with youngsters in TDM town’s Hiep Thanh and Phu Loi wards to make environmental hygiene and take part in the “Giving strength in Exam Season” program.

 Over the past years, students of the school actively got involved in the summer youth volunteer campaigns with such practical activities as making rural roads, opening computer classes, building gratitude houses for Vietnamese heroic mothers…in the province and many other localities, including Binh Phuoc, Ca Mau, Dac Nong and Dac Lac.
