2023 open Binh Duong Traditional Boat Race gets animated

Early April 30, the 2023 Open Binh Duong Traditional Boat Race took place with the participation of 10 teams from 9 districts, towns and cities, including 2 from Tan Uyen city. The teams competed enthusiastically in two distances of 500 meters and 3,000 meters on the Saigon River at the section passing through Thu Dau Mot city.

The tournament was organized by provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to create a joyful and vibrant atmosphere, serving people’s needs for entertainment on the occasion of the 48th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2023).

As a result, Dau Tieng district excellently won the first prize in the 500-m distance while second and third prizes went to Thuan An city and Thanh Phuoc team from Tan Uyen city, respectively. Consolation prizes belonged to teams of Thanh Hoi in Tan Uyen city, Bau Bang district and Thu Dau Mot city.

In the 3,000-m distance, first prize went to Thanh Phuoc team from Tan Uyen city while second and third prizes belonged to Dau Tieng district and Thuan An city, respectively. Consolation prizes belonged to teams of Thanh Hoi in Tan Uyen city, Bau Bang district and Thu Dau Mot city.
