Traditional House of provincial Armed Forces inaugurated

Early November 24, provincial Military Command inaugurated the Traditional House of the provincial Armed Forces. The event was attended by Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Head of provincial National Assembly Delegation; Vo Van Minh, Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.

The project has a total construction area of 551 square meters with investment of nearly VND 15 billion. The Traditional House of provincial Armed Forces features portraits and images of President Ho Chi Minh, documents and photographs of provincial Military Command Party Secretaries and Commanders over periods as well as honors and achievements of the People's Armed Forces, medals of collectives and individuals, a collection with over 400 artifacts, images, oil and lacquer paintings, charts, inscriptions, medals and award flags commemorating heroic victories, heroic examples... This Traditional House aims at illustrating the history of building, fighting and development of provincial armed forces. It is constructed to honor and preserve the significant contributions and sacrifices of previous generations, thereby propagandizing and educating the sense of responsibility and patriotism, love for compatriots, igniting the fire of heroic tradition for officers and soldiers of the armed forces today and tomorrow.

On this occasion, provincial Military Command presented flowers and gifts as tokens of gratitude to former leaders of provincial Military Command over periods.
