27 “Ho Van Men” scholarships awarded to poor pupils

Thuan An town’s Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization (HCMYPO) kicked off an art performance program entitled “Children are the nation’s young shoots” on the evening of Jan.27.

Along with special items from the town’s Nightingales’ Singing Contest 2016, the program awarded 27 “Ho Van Men” scholarships to pupils with difficult circumstances (photo).

On this occasion, all 32 detachments of the town’s HCMYPO also organized a “Spring tree” program with encouraging results; presented 2,370 gifts with a total expense of more than VND580mln. In addition, the town’s HCMYPO awarded prizes to excellent items at the town’s Nightingales’ Singing Contest 2016.
