3rd congress of Tan Uyen’s Red Cross Society held

On November 12, the 3rd Congress of North Tan Uyen district’s Red Cross Society for the 2021-2026 term took place with the participation of 85 official delegates representing 14,146 members in the district. The event was attended by Nguyen Thi Le Trinh, Chairwoman of provincial Red Cross Society together with leaders of the district.

In the last term, cadres, members, and volunteers of the district’s Red Cross Society actively participated in mobilizing enterprises and donors to support resources to carry out charity movements and activities with remarkable results. The total value of humanitarian activities carried out by the whole society in the last term reached over VND 26 billion.

The congress elected a new executive board of the association with 23 members; sorted out 18 official delegates and 2 alternates to attend the 8th Congress of provincial Red Cross Society in the 2021-2026 term. Duong Van Cuong, Chairman of the district’s 2^nd Red Cross Society was re-elected as Chairman of the district’s 3^rd  Red Cross Society.
