43 art troupes attend 5th provincial teachers ‘singing contest

A ceremony to open the 5^th provincial teachers ‘singing contest was held at Binh Duong Radio and Television Station on the morning of October 19.

Running from October 19 to 21, the festival has attracted the participation of 43 art troupes from the Divisions of Education and Training of 9 districts, towns, cities, high schools, vocational training and continuing education centers throughout the province. Each unit performs a program with 3 types: solo, duet (trio) and group singing, with contents in praise of the Party and Uncle Ho, love for homeland, the heroic tradition of the Vietnamese people, the profession of education and training in the cause of basic and comprehensive renewal.

The festival is organized by provincial Trade Union of Education and Training to celebrate the country's great holidays and Vietnam Teachers' Day (November 20). In addition, the contest also aims at discovering and fostering typical examples in the cultural and artistic movement of the sector to participate in the local cultural and artistic activities, prepare to attend the 5^th  National Teachers’ Singing Festival organized by the Ministry of Education and Training and the Vietnam Education Trade Union.
