95.74% of families win cultural titles in 2014

Di An Town People’s Committee just met to direct the construction of cultural life to approved qualified families across local quarters in 2014.

Accordingly, in 2014, Di An Town saw 39,063 households entitled as cultural families or 95.74% of the evaluated ones, declining by 404 households from the initial registration.

Of the 7 local wards, Di An has the highest ratio of cultural families at 97.2%; other wards of 94-96%. Meantime, cultural hostels are accounted for 95.9%, 304 of which have been qualified for 3 consecutive years.

As for cultural quarters, 28 out of 41 quarters have been entitled as cultural quarters. The 13 quarters failed to be qualified due to occurance of drug dealing, prostitution, sexual abuse, and/or losing birth control.

As for wards entitled to be civilized and urbanized under criteria of Circular No. 02/2013 of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, all 7 wards failed due to limitation of appearance, pavement occupance, etc.
