A war invalid is good at business

Born in the Northern province of Thai Binh in 1977, Tuyen joined in the army and struggled in Cambodia battlefield. In 1988 he left the army with many injuries and was recognized as a war invalid class 4/4.

However, with the will of a soldier, he nourished hope of changing life and selected Binh Duong to begin his business start-up.

To stabilize life, he initially dug ponds to raise fishes and built farms to raise cows, pigs and many more on the area of 6 ha.

In the resistance war, he was awarded the first class Feat Order, glorious Soldier Order and many merit certificates of the State President. In the peaceful time, he is famous for winning efficiency of business and many merit certificates granted by provincial and district authorities.

Annually, he reaps a profit of over VND200mil from farms of pigs and fishes. Rubber farm alone brings him an income of VND150mil per year.

In addition, Tuyen’s farmstead has placed jobs for local residents with an average income of VND3.2mil-6mil per capita per month. He has dedicated to his youth to the country and contributed to local cause of rural agriculture development.

With his efforts and the done achievements, Tuyen has been nominated as vice chairman of Vinh Hoa commune Farmers Society.
