All-level youth unions of the province follow up Workers’ Month and Young Workers’ Week

Responding to the Vietnam Workers' Month and the 16th provincial Young Workers’ Week in 2023, the provincial Youth Union has deployed 100% of the district, town and city Youth Unions to organize the implementation and assurance of the allocation targets. The response activities of the Youth Union focus on caring for and supporting the material and spiritual life of young workers and workers in difficulties.

According to the plan, the Standing Committee of the provincial Youth Union has assigned the targets of districts, towns and city unions to coordinate with relevant departments and agencies to organize specific and practical activities during the Workers' Month and the provincial Young Workers' Week 2023. Besides the launching ceremony, practical activities and programs with young workers are also available. The units develop propaganda plans to mobilize tenants and strive to achieve the target of model hostels and dream rooms to support disadvantaged workers. Specifically, each unit ensures the establishment of a youth model hostel or mobilizes to donate a dream room and mobilizes the establishment of Youth Unions, Associations, clubs, teams and groups of young workers in non-state enterprises.

At the same time, each unit established a youth volunteer team for online public service, propagandized, mobilized and guided young workers and workers at companies and hostels to install and activate e-ID accounts and access the national public service portal of the provincial public service Districts, town, and city Youth Unions strive to mobilize and coordinate with enterprises inside and outside the state sector to implement the program of "Sales at fair prices for young workers", “Market fairs of VND 0 dong” among others.

In addition, the grassroots Union focused on organizing activities to honor and honor typical workers and young workers, organizing the program of "Young Workers' Day" in industrial parks where a large number of young workers and workers gather. In the current situation, it is very necessary to organize counseling and support to introduce jobs for young workers. Therefore, counseling and job introduction activities for employees will be integrated in the programs of worker's day organized by the Union. Particularly, the Business Union, the Youth Union of the provincial Police, the Youth Union of theprovincial Military Command, the Center for Support of Young Workers and Young Laborers of the province were also requested by the provincial Youth Union to provide practical support to the young workers and children of young workers. Each of these units will offer to at least 50 children of young workers or young workers with difficult circumstances through support funds, gifts, scholarships, charity houses, and dream rooms.

To improve the quality of worker life

According to the Standing Committee of the provincial Youth Union, activities during Youth Workers' Week were organized practically with many programs to meet the needs of improving the quality of life of workers in the hostels. Youth Union units have strengthened the construction of amusement parks, organized the programs of "Weekend playground" and "Happy Sunday" for the children of young workers and young workers.

Nguyen Thanh Thao - Deputy Secretary of the provincial Youth Union, said: “In programs to care for and support young workers, the Youth Union at all levels actively cooperates with other branches to give legal advice, organizes cultural, artistic and sports activities in industrial parks, consults on reproductive health care, offers free medical examination, treatment and medicine for young workers and children of workers in difficult circumstances. The district and grassroots delegations also focused on visiting and giving gift baskets to share love for young workers in difficult circumstances or having labor accidents and occupational diseases; at the same time, they reviewed and proposed to award the Youth Support Fund to young workers in need.”

In order for Vietnam Workers' Month and the 16th provincial Young Workers' Week in 2023 to effectively accompany young workers, the provincial Youth Union and Association will continue to promote their roles in caring and supporting support, to actively coordinate with branches and levels to create an environment for young workers away from home to stay with the homeland of Binh Duong for a long time.
