Another charitable kitchen introduced

On August 11, Phu Tho ward Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee in Thu Dau Mot city introduced its charitable kitchen which is open once every month on the 15th of the lunar calendar to offer meals and gifts to people living in harsh circumstances and lottery street sellers. The charitable kitchen is among the practical activities that local authority is pursuing under the project of improving the quality of the cultural lifestyle and civilized urbanity emulation initiated by Thu Dau Mot city Party Committee. Of the emulation, the criteria of community responsibility is included to widespread the charitable actions in the community as  the contribution to practical local social welfare.

Meals are given to people living in harsh circumstances

At the introduction ceremony, local Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee gave 300 meals to people living in hardship and 7 gift packages of necessities to 7 families of hardship in the ward. The total payments of the charitable drive was VND 8.9 million.
