Ben Cat’s agricultural production value up 5.2%

In 2017, Ben Cat town’s agricultural production value was estimated at VND493.7billion, up 5.2% compared to 2016.

The district’s total area for short-day and fruit crops was more than 1.887 hectares, including around 54.37 hectares with hi-tech application and 40.47 hectares for urban agricultural models.

The district’s animal husbandry also reached stable development without epidemic diseases. The district carried out vaccination with nearly 395,500 doses on poultry and cattle or 103% of the year’s plan, up 6.3% compared to 2016; discovered and handled 93 wrong cases with a total fine of more than VND259million.
