Ben Cat supports enterprises to maintain production

In the face of the complicated developments of Covid-19 pandemic, many enterprises in ​​Ben Cat town have implemented strict measures against the pandemic,  made great efforts in implementing the "3 on-site" and "1 route, 2 destinations" plans to maintain production.

Proactively coping with pandemic

Ben Cat town now has 625 enterprises registering to operate under the “3 on-site", "1 route, 2 destinations" production models, with a total of 82,858 employees. Among them, there are 159 enterprises outside industrial parks (Ips), with 11,553 employees; 466 enterprises inside Ips with 71,305 employees. To ensure the implementation of the "dual goals" of Covid-19 prevention-control and economic development, the town has organized propaganda and guided enterprises to set up plans to ensure production safety under the  “3 on-site” or “1 route, 2 destinations” production models.

The town's Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control has closely inspected enterprises to continue maintaining production. It was noted that enterprises have arranged forces to check workers’ body temperature, equipped with antiseptic water and masks for workers in accordance with regulations while disseminating, mobilizing  workers to well comply with the "5K" message of the Ministry of Health.

Orion Food Vietnam Co., Ltd. in the My Phuoc Industrial Park 2 is one of outstanding enterprises in implementing the "3 on-site" production model. Yang Jin Han, Director of Orion My Phuoc Factory said that the company has implemented the "3 on-site" production model with more than 400 employees. Implementing this production model has helped the company maintain growth during the pandemic.

 

Representatives of Wanek 3 Co., Ltd., and Motomotion Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Thoi Hoa ward have also reported their plans to ensure safe production in accordance with the guidance of the local Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control. All workers have strictly followed regulations, joining hands with the community to prevent the pandemic and create favorable conditions for production and business activities of the companies. Town-based enterprises have also thanked the local Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control and leaders at all-level authorities and sectors for supporting them to overcome this difficult period.

Accompanying enterprises

According to leader of Ben Cat town, through the actual inspection of places to eat, sleep, and work under the "3 on-site" model, most enterprises have well complied with the registered production model. The town has also instructed functional agencies to coordinate with enterprises to opportunely deal with changes in this production model, ensuring production stability.

Nguyen Trong An, Chairman of Ben Cat town’s People's Committee said that through monitoring the situation, town-based enterprises have reached consensus among workers when implementing  the "3 on-site” production model. However, they have faced certain obstacles in the process of realizing the production model…

In the face of the situation, the town has directed the local functional agencies to regularly pay attention to the operations of enterprises for timely support solutions such as taking samples for Covid-19 testing on employees; handling, tracing and making quarantine for F0 cases; stabilizing security and order situation… The local functional agencies will also make efforts to deal with policies for employers and employees affected by the pandemic  under the Government's Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP dated July 1, 2021 and the Prime Minister's Decision No. 23/2021/QD-TTg dated July 7, 2021. In addition, the town's People's Committee will coordinate with provincial Industrial Parks’ Management Board to direct the town’s Urban Management Division to recheck works that have not yet been used to create conditions for enterprises to borrow and use them as places to live for workers to implement the "1 route, 2 destinations" plan.

Bui Duy Hien, Secretary of Ben Cat town’s Party Committee, Head of the town’s Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control has requested enterprises to closely coordinate with localities, sectors and mass organizations in connecting information, strictly following the guidance process of Covid-19 prevention and control while maintaining production and business activities, contributing to the local socio-economic development. Enterprises and trade unions at all levels need to further follow and be close to workers to promptly grasp their legitimate aspirations, thereby taking timely measures to make workers feel secure to work, joining hands with enterprises and the locality to overcome this difficult period.
