To realize the policy of Provincial People's Committee on the approval for compensation, support and resettlement of the extended My Phuoc – Tan Van road, Ben Cat Town has made a plan for compensating and supporting households having land belonging to the project through Tan Dinh ward.
Accordingly, the distance passing Tan Dinh ward has a length of 4,198 meters, with 43 households having land acquired for carrying out the project. Now there is only one case has not agreed for the authorities to measure and make compensation plans.
According to Nguyen Minh Tuan, Acting Director of Ben Cat Town Land Fund Development Center, the center repeatedly propagated and encouraged this household to cooperate with the authorities, but it did not succeed. Thus the agency must carry out coercing plan for checking the land and assets attached to land, then proposed an appropriate support. Coercive work was carried out publicly and in accordance with laws.
It is known that the project of compensation, support and resettlement of the extended My Phuoc - Tan Van road has been implemented since 2011. This project is essential to meet the demand for transportation of goods from industrial parks and urban areas to the Southeastern and Central Highlands provinces, contributing to the sustainable socio-economic development of Binh Duong in general and Ben Cat Town in particular.
