Binh Duong boost waterway tourism development

Due to the implementation of Tourism Development Cooperation Program between Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Duong Province and Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City (now is Department of Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City Minh) period 2014-2018, morning Sep 28, Binh Duong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the inauguration of tourist waterway route from Ho Chi Minh City to Thu Dau Mot City of Saigon tourist.

Tourists, reporters visited Tran Van Ho ancient house (Phu Cuong Ward, Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong Province).

After the opening ceremony, tourists and journalists joined the first cruise departing from Tan Cang (Ho Chi Minh City) - Bach Dang wharf (Thu Dau Mot) - Hai Thanh Koi-fish eco-tourism area (Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh city). In Binh Duong, the delegation stopped at Thu Dau Mot market, Thien Hau Thanh Mau Pagoda, Ho Khanh Pagoda, Tran Van Ho ancient house.

The opening of this tourist waterway route aimed to connect and cooperate for the development of waterway tourism on the Saigon River to attract tourists to Binh Duong in the coming time, especially international tourists.
