Binh Duong province Don Ca Tai Tu – Cai Luong Festival 2014

This festival gathered eight DCTT-CL clubs including more than 80 amateur artists of eight localities in the province. Apart from excellent amateur music players, e.g. Pham Ngoc Phu, Vu thanh, Minh Kieu, Le Tot (Di An town), Van Ut (Tan Uyen town), Huy Thanh (Thuan An town), Ngoc Chi (TDM City), many newly composed songs were performed, for example, “Huong sac Binh Duong” (Perfume and beauty of Binh Duong) of Pham Ngoc Phu, “Hao khi Tan Uyen” (Spirit of Tan Uyen) of Hoai Duyen, “Binh Duong doi moi” (Binh Duong’s renewal) of Tan Xuan, “Binh Duong – nghia tinh thuy chung” (Binh Duong – faithful attachment) of Trung Hau, “Chuyen cai hang rao” (The story of a fence) of Minh Tri and so on.

Singing the praises of the homeland, national beautiful sceneries, changes of the new rural life, these new melodies created a fresh climate for the festival, especially, abundance, closeness to life through the subject of new rural construction.

Culture – Sports and Tourism Department’s Deputy Director Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Nghia said: “Despite restrictions and difficulties, Phu Giao district organized successfully this festival, serving cultural needs of people in Phu Giao and Binh Duong province”.

With achievements from this festival DCTT-CL movement of Binh Duong province is potentially a bright spot contributing to upholding and promoting southern DCTT, which is an Intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
