The first game of the camping festival was a photo joining contest to learn about Vietnamese sea and island. Reps of 17 camping tents showed their understanding on Vietnamese sea and island by joining photos exactly.
At the camping festival, participants also learnt about the country’s sea and island through an exchange with senior lieutenant-colonel Ho Quoc Tuan, vice chairman of the provincial Military Headquarters.
The final activity was a program of collecting stones to build Truong Sa. Also the occasion, the provincial department of Education and Training granted VND68,342,000 to the provincial Military Headquarters.
Regarding the campaign festival’s significance, the department’s vice director cum head of the camping festival’s organization board, said the department pays attention to entertainment activities for students. The camping festival was to develop patriotism of local students.
Student Tran Bao Chau from Thu Dau Mot University, shared “Through the activities, our young generation tracked back the country’s glorious stages and historic milestones. The spirit creates determination and volunteer for us to protect and keep the country’s sea and island”.
Student Le Van Khan from Binh Duong Technology School added “we are ready to protect the country’s peace and independence and to do everything for the country”.
