Binh Duong successfully presents malaria types throughout province

According to provincial Department of Health, the project of "Regional Artemisinin-resistance Initiative in the period of 2021-2023" (RAI3E) implemented in 4 important districts with the high malaria rate has reached high results.

Accordingly, in the period of 2020-2023, there were 4 imported cases of malaria in the province. In 2020, the province had 2 imported cases of malaria outside the province. In 2021, there was 1 imported malaria case and in 2023, there was 1 imported malaria case, with no deaths, due to malaria.

Currently, Binh Duong has successfully implemented the presentation of malaria types throughout the province and is in the stage of preventing malaria from returning after elimination. Provincial Department of Health has also requested the Ministry of Health and provincial People's Committee to further pay attention to directing and sponsoring so that the province can maintain these achievements in the coming years.
