Binh Duong wins 16 medals at southeastern Karatedo championship

The 2016 open Southeastern Karatedo Championship has just concluded at provincial Physical Training and Sports Center.

The Binh Duong host team topped the tournament with 6 gold, 3 silver, 7 bronze medals. It was followed by Dong Thap with 5 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals and Can Tho with 4 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze medals.

This year’s tournament attracted more than 140 Karatedo athletes from units in and out of the province. This was one of the province’s activities to mark the 70^th anniversary of Vietnamese Sports Day (Mar.27, 1946-Mar.3, 2016) and also a chance for Karatedo athletes to hone their skills in order to further win medals at national and regional tournaments in the coming time.
