Binh Duong women’s cycling tourney to absorb six foreign teams

A press conference on the organization of the 6^th Binh Duong International Women’s Cycling Tournament – Biwase Cup 2016 was organized yesterday in TDM city.

The tournament will be held by Binh Duong Water Supply-Drainage and Environment Company (BIWASE), provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism together with other relevant units from March 8 to 16 with the participation of eight local teams and six international ones from Thailand, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

The cyclists will join the 9-stage race that stretches nearly 900 kilometers across Dong Nai, Lam Dong, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Ba Ria- Vung Tau and Binh Duong provinces.

The event aims to celebrate the International Women’s Day (Mar.8), the Youth Union’s 85^th founding anniversary and the 41^st anniversary of the Liberation of the South. This is also the first tournament of Vietnamese female cyclists in 2016.
