Binh Duong youths follow President Ho Chi Minh’s example

Promoting the learning and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style, cadres and youth union members at all levels in the province always try their best to study, creatively work and follow the example of President Ho Chi Minh to gain many achievements to dedicate to President Ho Chi Minh.

Programs and tasks realized

Implementing President Ho Chi Minh's teaching of the youth’s readiness, young people of Thuan An have taken the lead in the emulation movements of the units by responding enthusiastically to many projects and youth works, bringing joy and happiness to the community in an effective and practical way.

Ms. Pham Nguyen Phuong Tha, Secretary of Thuan An Youth Union, said that the specific actions and deeds of Thuan An youth are reflected in traditional educational models and programs associated with the implementation of Directive 05 of the Politburo. Besides, volunteer activities for community life and social security are held regularly to attract a large number of youth union members such as voluntary blood donation, building charity houses, free medical examination and distribution, giving gifts to families in need and in difficult circumstances. Movements, projects, and activities that young people participate include the building of new countryside and urban civilized lifestyle recognized and appreciated by the Party committees, authorities and people at all levels.

In Bau Bang district, the studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style has been widely and regularly deployed by the local Youth Union and all levels of its grassroots. Propaganda, organization, and study have been focused on developing thoroughly. The contents of "studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style" are flexibly integrated into the activities on the occasion of holidays and anniversaries of the CPV, the nation, and the Union as well as in experiential activities, commemorative meetings, cultural and artistic exchanges.

Some typical activities of Bau Bang's youths include the installation of President Ho Chi Minh’s testament boards at the branches of the Youth Union and hostels with youth workers' associations,  the commendation of "elite youths following President Ho Chi Minh's words" at historical sites, annual contests held to learn about President Ho Chi Minh’s life and career for a large number of youth union members, contest to learn about President Ho Chi Minh's will under the topic of "the young people of Bau Bang district recall the will" at the Ho Chi Minh Museum of Binh Thuan branch at Nha Rong Port.

Continual promotion

Being aware of the meaning and importance of Directive No. 05-CT/TW, the provincial Youth Union's Standing Committee has oriented and directed its grassroots at all levels of the province to organize regular, extensive and systematic organization in many rich, lively, and suitable forms for each target group of Youth Union cadres and members in the province by diversifying the contents and methods of propaganda accordingly.

Activities are integrated into activities of branches, inter-team activities, contests, exhibitions, and seminars with periodic columns built on the website of the Youth Union, on the Internet, youth and younster radio programs. At the same time, the provincial Youth Union builds propaganda publications online and on social networks to disseminate books about President Ho Chi Minh’s life and career in order to ensure the widespread dissemination of his life, career, moral thought and style among union members and youths in the province.

Besides, the studying and following Uncle Ho has been organized by the Youth Union at all levels in the province. Its movements have been close to the youths by taking care of the material and spiritual interests of the province's youths in Binh Duong with practical works to help young people, students and those in difficult circumstances especially in the context of the COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control. The highlight is that the Standing Committee of the provincial Youth Union has organized trips to praise the typical examples at President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, President Ho Chi Minh’s homeland, and at historical sites associated with his life, career and revolutionary activities.

It can be seen that learning and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology and morality has really come to life as the driving force for socio-economic development to ensures national defense and security. The union organization is getting stronger and stronger. Under the spirit and concrete actions, the study and following President Ho Chi Minh of Binh Duong youths has made a profound change in the sense of cultivation, moral training and lifestyle for younger generation, contributing to the construction of model of young people living with great ideals.
