Preparations for all-level Party congresses ensure progress under provincial Party Standing Committee's plan

On the afternoon of November 9, Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation, presided over a meeting to review reports on preparations for the upcoming all-level Party congresses for the 2025-2030 tenure as well as the year-end review and summary for 2024.

According to a report by provincial Party Committee’s  Organization Commission, all 15 affiliated Party Committees under provincial Party Committee have established subcommittees, editorial teams for congress documents, working groups for the subcommittees and other teams relevant to congress preparations. Each subcommittee and team has been directed to implement plans under regulations and on schedule.

Regarding the congress documents from districts, cities’ and affiliated Party Committees, all the committees have now completed detailed outlines and have reviewed the draft political report with the document subcommittees and Standing Party Committees. Some units have already held the third round of reviews with these groups at the district level.

To prepare for personnel arrangement for all-level Party congress, districts, cities’ and affiliated Party Committees have been directed and implemented the review and supplementation of Party Committee planning, leadership and management positions of the district, grassroots-level Party Committees for 2020-2025, 2025-2030, 2021-2026, 2026-2031 tenures with regulations ensured.  

Regarding preparation for the evaluation and classification of collectives and individuals in 2024, each Party committee, organization and individual is scheduled to complete this work by December 15, 2024.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Loi acknowledged the efforts by affiliated Party Committees in preparing for all- level Party Congress. He urged localities and units to review their 2024 targets and rigorously drive the completion of all goals and plans, laying a foundation for breakthroughs in 2025. Additionally, he emphasized that localities and units should be ready to inaugurate and commence projects in early 2025, creating a new impetus for the Party, people and military toward the upcoming all-level Party congresses. Party Committees at all levels should intensify efforts in preparing for all-level Party congress.
