Campaign "Green summer with home island sea" launched

From June 6 to 14, the Provincial Vietnam Youth Federation carried out the campaign "Green summer with home islands" in Phu Quy Island district, Binh Thuan province.

In this campaign, 23 young volunteers of Binh Duong province performed many meaningful and practical activities in the island district. Namely, they implemented some works including: new construction and renovation, upgrade of toilets of Long Hai Primary School; to perform a youth project "Embellishing sea embankments"; paint and repair houses for the elderly, poor households, local people, fishermen having difficult circumstances, policy families, families with meritorious services to the revolutionary. Besides, the young volunteers organized summer activities for children and soft skills training for children in the island district; mobilized social resources to give gifts to people and families having difficult circumstances in the district.

In addition, the Provincial Vietnam Youth Federation also gave scholarships to disadvantaged children and free medical examinations to the people of the island district; organized activities to propagate and collect waste in Bai Nho; donated self-decomposing plastic bags and paper bags to the people; gave free counseling, free drug, post-Covid-19 health care to 300 adolescents and people on the island.
