At meetings with voters, the matters of latex price forcing have been much reported by farmers. Dau Tieng Rubber Corporation is initiating a collective in charge of buying latex from household plantations to calm the situation. Household plantation owners shall be ensured with stable prices once the collective is set up Across Dau Tieng District, household plantations are accounted for over 20,000 hectares offering high and stable income to local people; however, price manipulated by some transit vendors has been the major problem to local farmer.In a step to respond to calls of help, Dau Tieng Rubber Corporation offered various supporting policies.Mr. Le Thanh Hung, Deputy General Director of Dau Tieng Rubber Corporation informed that in 2012 the corporation had estimated the buying of 3,000 tons of latex from household plantations. And in 2013, the target should be 4,500 tons or even up to 6,000 tons.Such buying extended helping hands to farmers while created jobs to more people. Based on this approach, the corporation is setting up a collective to buy latex from household plantations under daily prices regulated by Vietnam Rubber Group.Mr. Nguyen Van Muoi, one of the farmers owning rubber plantations, was so glad to see a collective in charge of anti-price manipulation.Reported by Tri Dung – Translated by Vi Bao
