Commendation of excellent athletes at the 9th National Sports Games

On December 30, at Binh Duong Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center, a ceremony was held to commend and reward coaches and athletes gaining excellent results at the 9th National Sports Games. The ceremony was attended by Nguyen Van Loc, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Mass Mobilization Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of Provincial Party Propagation and Education Committee; Nguyen Loc Ha, Standing Member of Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council.

At the 9th National Sports Games, Binh Duong province's sports delegation won 29 gold medals, 22 silver medals, 56 bronze medals, ranking 8/65 sports delegations of provinces, cities and industries of the country; exceeding the planned targets and being awarded the excellent flag by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Speaking at the commendation ceremony, on behalf of provincial leaders, Nguyen Loc Ha suggested that the culture, sports and tourism branch continue to promote the achieved results; he also expressed his wish that all sports athletes in the province would continue to make efforts and practice professionally, practice ethical behavior, and soon become honored athletes in the regional and continental arenas as well as the world...

At the ceremony, Binh Duong sports delegation was awarded the excellent emulation flag by the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the team flag of 8th rank at the 9th National Sports Festival; Provincial People's Committee commended collectives and individuals making outstanding achievements in organizing and managing sports delegations at the congress.
