Early March 21, the General Department of Taxation held an online conference with 63 tax departments nationwide, announcing the electronic portal for foreign suppliers with income from Vietnam to register, declare, pay taxes and deploy eTax Mobile application. The event was attended by the Ministry of Finance, leaders of the General Department of Taxation and representatives of a number of ministries and sectors; representatives of foreign suppliers; commercial banks and a number of auditing companies authorized by foreign suppliers to declare and pay taxes... Attending the event in Binh Duong were Nguyen Van Danh, Vice- Chairman of provincial People's Committee and leaders of provincial Tax Department.
At the conference, representatives of the General Department of Taxation, the Department of Information-Technology – the Ministry of Finance introduced an overview of the electronic portal for foreign suppliers and eTax Mobile. Accordingly, all transactions from registration, declaration, tax payment, etc., are done online through the e-portal for foreign supplies. According to Minister of Finance Ho Duc Phuc, this is one of quick steps to realize e-Government, specifically the Ministry of Digital Finance by 2023. Therefore, relevant agencies and localities need to quickly deploy this service while improving the responsibility and efficiency of tax authorities in tax administration for e-commerce, business activities based on digital platforms and other services made by foreign suppliers…
