Cultural activities celebrates Vietnamese Teacher’s Day

On these days, in many places across the province, especially in schools, joyful ambiance is pervading, when many cultural activities celebrating Vietnamese Teacher’s Day (November 20th) is happening everywhere…

 Performance “Mua vui ngay hoi” of AOFLI Faculty won the first dancing prize of Thu Dau Mot University. In November 16th and 17th, Trinh Hoai Duc secondary school held a performance contest celebrating Vietnamese Teacher’s Day November 20th. This was an exciting activity held by school’s Young Pioneers Team in collaboration with Teacher’s Youth Union branch to create a healthy playground for pupils. The show comprised 43 performances including solo, duo, trio, group singing about teachers, friends, school from 42 classes of 6th, 7th and 8th-grade.At the end, the first solo singing prize went to performance of “Nguoi thay” (The teacher) of class 8A3 and “Co giao em la hoa E ban” (My teacher is Eban flower) class 6N1, first duo singing prize belonged to “Thay co cho em mua xuan” (Teachers give me the spring) of class 6N2, and the first group singing was “Chap canh uoc mo” (Adding wings to dreams) of class 6A5. Besides, on November 20th, school’s TradeUnion will organize flower arrangement and karaoke contest for all teachers.Evening November 17th, Thu Dau Mot University hosted the finals of Official’s cultural show celebrating Vietnamese Teacher’s Day. The eliminating round took place on November 15th and 16th with 52 performances of 6 genres singing about the Party, uncle Ho, homeland and people… Then, 18 outstanding performances were chosen to enter the final round on November 17th.Finally, Faculty of Social Sciences & Humanities (SS&H) won excellently the first team prize. Two second prizes were conferred on Faculty of Law and Administrative Office – Finance – Library Information (AOFLI) whilst three third prizes were presented to Faculty of Political Sciences, Information Technology, and Natural Sciences (NS). In addition, the organizers rewarded lecturer Nguyen Thi Be Nam (Faculty of Physical Education) with the first solo singing prize. The first duo – trio singing prize went to Faculty of SS&H, the first group singing prize to Academic Affairs Department, the first dancing prize to Faculty of AOFLI, and the first “ca co” prize to Faculty of NS.On the morning of November 18th, Vo Minh Duc high school organized the rewarding ceremony of activities celebrating Vietnamese Teacher’s Day. 17 prizes were conferred on excellent performances of the cultural show. 40/125 items including solo, duo – trio singing, dancing from 36 classes, were performed at the final round on November 16th. The show brought many vividly colorful performances praising enthusiastic teachers for devoting themselves to dear pupils, playful lively pupils, classrooms and flamboyant…At the end of the show, performance of class 12B1 won the first dancing prize, item “Ngay ay ban va toi” (That day you and me) of class 12B4 got the first solo singing prize, “Nguoi thay nam xua” (The former teacher) of class 12B2 had the first duo – trio singing prize.
