Dau Tieng district-based art and culture developed strongly

Movement of mass art culture in Dau Tieng district has over the past time reached encouraging results and developed strongly.  Model of Southern opera club has been expanded in Dau Tieng district.Annually, communes and townships across the district have held the national identity-filled art and culture exchanges. The programs have met local residents' demand on spiritual culture. The mass art performances across quarters and hamlets have brought healthy playgrounds for local people. The district division of Culture and Information has launched many measures to raise the movements to a new height. Many contests and art festivals held on big holidays and Tet holidays at communes and townships have lured participation of numerous people.After 15 years of implementing the 8th Central Party Committee's 5th plenum Resolution on "building and developing advanced Vietnamese culture deeply imbued with national identities", the district division of Culture and Information has held over 100 contests and art performances to cater for people.Of these, Southern opera movement has been developed best with 6 Southern opera clubs across communes and townships luring the participation of over 300 people.Mai Duc Lanh, director of the district division of Culture and Information, said "The movement of Southern opera in district has been developed strongly thanks to guidance of seniors under the district Southern opera Club. In addition, to develop the movement, the center for information and culture has facilitated members' skill improvement as well as equipped with instruments, held exchanges and festivals and contests to find out talents".Especially, the artistic movement has been developed across communes. Most of the communes have set up artistic teams with singers and instrument players. Minh Hoa commune is an example for the movement. This locality has set up artistic teams across hamlets to exchange with neighboring communes. Bui Dinh Phuc, head of Minh Hoa commune committe for culture and sport shared "the commune annually holds artistic exchanges on holidays. By talent and ambition, the teams' members bring unique and attractive items for audiences".At remote communes with limited conditions, local people have paid much attention to the mass art performances, especially the contest of "Elderly people's singing", "Mass art performance" and many more.Le Tran Phuong Thao, an artistic nuclear of the district art movement revealed "As a remote district with the shortage of creation playgrounds for the public, the mass art performance movement has been responded enthusiastically by local residents. Therefore, contests held by the district center for culture and information have lured a number of participants.
