On August 4, the Economic and Social Board of Dau Tieng District People's Council surveyed the preparation for the school year 2022-2023 in the district.
Currently, in Dau Tieng district, there are 19 preschools, including 17 public schools and 2 non-public schools. In addition, the whole district has 4 private daycare groups with about 80 children. Compared to the last school year, it is expected that in school year 2022-2023 the whole district would increase by over 350 students.
In the school year 2022-2023, the district's educational staffing plan is 1,690 people, including 1,354 officials, 276 people under the contract under Decree 68 of the Government. Currently, there is a shortage of 107 people in the staff, of which there is a shortage of 50 in preschool; primary schools lack 26 officials; junior high schools lack 31 officials. In the school year 2022-2023, the district will put into use Minh Tan Primary School, expand Long Hoa Primary School, Long Tan Primary School, and Thanh Tuyen Primary School with a budget of nearly 198 billion VND to meet the teaching and learning demand of local students.
At the survey, leaders of the District Office of Education and Training said that due to the lack of new teachers, the recruitment faced many difficulties. The branch also recommended the district leaders to pay more attention to the appointment and re-appointment of managers to help the units complete their assigned tasks.
Concluding the survey, the supervisory delegation highly appreciated the preparation for the new school year of the district's education branch. Besides, the delegation suggested that the district education branch needs to find solutions to solve difficulties to ensure the best conditions for the school year 2022-2023; took in the opinions of education branch, soon submitted to People's Council and People's Committee of the District for consideration and settlement in the coming time.
