Dau Tieng district Red Cross offers over 4,500 free portions of meals

To help poor patients, Dau Tieng district Red Cross has over the past years maintained operation of charity meals at the district Health Center. In 2014 alone, the charity kitchen catered for 4,520 people worth nearly VND70mil.
In addition, the union at all levels held to cook meals free of charge for 2,204 people with the total value of VND33mil.
Nguyen Thi Sau, chairwoman of Dau Tieng district Red Cross said that to maintain operation of charity meals, the union mobilizes donors, small traders and so on to support rice, sugar, cooking oil and more.
