Update: 14-10-2019 | 07:56:52

Thai Son pagoda (Cau mountain), lakes of Than Tho, Can Nom or Truc stream are famous tourist destinations of Dau Tieng district. Recently, religious and eco-tourism has been developed by Dau Tieng through many practical programs.

Tourists enjoy the pristine beauty of Truc stream.

Although it is not yet weekend, Truc stream is quite crowded with tourists. They go in small groups like a picnic. At Thai Son pagoda there are always pilgrims. Phan Vu Minh Tung, an expert of Dau Tieng District Culture and Information Office, said that religious tourism in Dau Tieng had recently grown strongly in combination with eco-tourism. Pilgrims travel to Thai Son pagoda and Cau mountain on numerous occasions such as Lunar New Year, Full moon of the first lunar month, the second lunar month etc. On these occasions, the temple entrance are always crowded with tourists from inside and outside the province. Public security forces must divide traffic flow, ensure social security and order, food hygiene and safety for visitors.

The most visited destinations are Cau mountain eco-tourism area, Thai Son pagoda, and Truc stream. Tourists also come to Dau Tieng on occasions of flower lanterns’ night festival and Ba Thien Hau procession (Dau Tieng town). Besides, there are festivals of Ky Yen and Ky Bong at Dau Tieng temple. Doi - Champa tourist area, which was invested in form of tourism socialization of businesses, also has contributed to the growth of religious and ecological tourism in Dau Tieng in recent years.

Another advantage of Dau Tieng is rivers and orchards for ecological tourism, which can be combined with religious tourism. Tourists are able to visit pagodas combined with resort-oriented tourism at Dau Tieng resevoir, Than Tho lake, and Can Nom lake. Besides, visitors may also go on religious tours associated with "red addresses" such as: Kien An historical relic, Ho Chi Minh Campaign headquarters ... by waterway and road.

No needs to go too far or spend a lot of money, nowadays on-site tours are favored by many people, especially religious and ecological tourism in Dau Tieng. This destination will bring visitors a sense of well-being on weekends and holidays.
