Deputy Prime Minster Nguyen Xuan Phuc has received the Chairman of the National Anti-Corruption Commission of Thailand (NACC), Panthep Klanarongran, who is on a working visit to Vietnam from September 21-25.
At the reception on September 21, Mr Phuc praised the NACC delegation’s visit as a contribution to strengthening the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Thailand.
He said Vietnam always attaches great importance to combating corruption which is one of the top priorities in building a professional and modern administration and keeping it operating in an open and transparent manner as well as raising the responsibility of those who are involved in public affairs.
Vietnam is ready to create favourable conditions for its Government Inspectorate and the NACC to implement their cooperation programmes effectively, said Phuc.
NACC Chief Klanarongran said the two sides will share experience and assist each other in personnel training in line with the memorandum of understanding (MoU) on anti-corruption cooperation signed by his commission and the Vietnamese Government Inspectorate./.
