Di An Library is the first library in the district-level’s library system separated from operation of Culture Information – Sport Center. As an independent organization, Di An Library has organized many activities attracting readers, like: contests, shows, exhibitions etc. In 2013, 5,833 copies of book were added to the library, increasing the total book’s number by 38,069 copies. The library also issued new cards to 810 readers, catered 91,306 readers, rotated 170,894 newspapers and magazines etc.Additionally, the library rotated 1,600 copies of book to 4 cultural post offices at communes, 12,000 book copies to 12 school libraries.On occasion of Di An town summer opening, the library cooperated with Summer executive board to organize exhibits 450 book copies for children, attracting 1,450 pupils; maintain art classes for pre-school and elementary school’s children.Reported by T.Ly – Translated by Ngoc Huynh
