Di An’s domestic wastewater collection network expanded

As planned, Di An city’s People's Committee will continue expanding the local domestic wastewater collection network in the remaining wards and quarters (phase 2) as well as further increasing the capacity of the local existing wastewater treatment plant by 20,000 cubic meters per day and night.

Di An city currently has a wastewater treatment plant under the South Binh Duong water environment improvement project. With a designed capacity of 80,000 cubic meters per day, the factory officially operated from November 2018 and is operating in the phase 1 of 20,000 cubic meters per day. The operation of the domestic wastewater treatment plant is considered a bright spot of Binh Duong province in general and Di An city in particular. In the phase 1, the city’s domestic wastewater collection network has worked in 5 wards, namely Tan Dong Hiep, Di An, Dong Hoa, An Binh and Tan Phu 1 quarter in Tan Binh ward.
