Di An Temple’s Ky Yen Festival becomes nationally intangible cultural relic

Di An Temple’s Ky Yen Festival at Di An ward in Di An city has just been lissted in nationally intangible cultural relics by Decision No. 150/QD-BVHTTDL on February 2, 2023 of Ministerr of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The Festival is traditionally held on the 15th and 16th of lunar January at Di An Temple – a nationally recognized local god temple in Di An ward. The Festival is one of the temple festivals in Binh Duong province to preserve the traditional values of ritual practices and social outspread for generations.

The recognition mounted up 5 intangible cultural relics in the province at national level to be Tuong Binh Hiep lacquer village, Binh Duong Pottery, Tan Khanh Ba Tra Martial Arts, Festivals of Tan An and Di An temples.
