Dutch Business Conference held in Binh Duong

On March 22, at Binh Duong Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center, the Provincial People's Committee and Becamex IDC Corporation jointly held the Dutch Business Conference 2022. The conference had the participation of Daniel Stork, Consul General of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City; Mai Hung Dung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Pham Ngoc Thuan, General Director of Becamex IDC Corporation; representatives of provincial departments and branches; Association of Dutch Businesses in Vietnam (DBAV) and Dutch companies in Binh Duong.

Pham Ngoc Thuan said Becamex IDC aims to develop a green medical, education and infrastructure ecosystem, creating a good living and working environment for workers. In its development strategy, Binh Duong province continues to implement the project "Binh Duong Innovation Region" with planned scientific and technological industrial parks, innovative start-up ecosystem, enhances the proportion of services, especially e-commerce, international trade with the hgihlight project of World Trade Center in Binh Duong New City.

According to Daniel Stork, many Dutch companies have been operating effectively in Binh Duong, in particular, the cooperation between governments of Binh Duong province and Eindhoven City in general, Brainport Group and. Becamex IDC Corporation in particular have achieved initial successes, especially in the construction of Binh Duong Smart City. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Netherlands, through efforts to implement commitments, the two sides will achieve further success in cooperation in many fields. He said that this dialogue conference was a great opportunity for Dutch businesses to talk to leaders of Binh Duong province about their difficulties and needs.

At the conference, leaders of provincial departments and branches answered questions of Dutch companies. Concluding the conference, Mai Hung Dung acknowledged the contributions of Dutch enterprises to the development of Binh Duong province. He wished Binh Duong province and its partners, Dutch businesses to cooperate and develop sustainably in the coming time.
